You ...thank you for sharing such a wonderful story. You are showing loads of understanding and your son is strong and happy. Even if he gets teased or even beaten up later as he ages at least he will be proud and free to make his own choices. I believe that is more important than not getting teased. If all parents were as understanding and open minded we would most likely have less drug/depression and even suicide among teenage boys/young adults. After all it is rather unfair, women can always dress and act like men, it is time men could do the same. Makeup and femenin clothes are getting more accepted on men, even on straight masculine men.
