Does HRC Support Transgender People in 2014??

Joe Solmonese spoke at the Southern Comfort Conference (SCC) in 2007 just before they threw us under the
bus on ENDA.

I just read that Chad Griffin, the president of Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is keynoting Southern Comfort Conference this year.

I can hardly wait to see what he has to say about 2007.

You can read what Monica Roberts has to say about this at her blog, TransGriot.

Also, listen to what Rebecca Juro says on her 8/14/14 show. She says Chad has to say something big, or no one will believe they have changed.

It Gets Better: Matt Kailey

Courtney Gray feeling lost
9 hrs · Denver, CO ·
It's with a profound sense of sadness that I share my friend Matt Kailey passed away this past Saturday of heart failure in his sleep. Matt was a champion for transgender people here in Colorado and reached people around the world with his blog. I had the privilege to work with him in advocating for trans people and learned so much from him. Matt gave everything of himself for others. We all stand on the shoulders of giants, I for one stand on Matt's giant shoulders. Matt's book "Just Add Hormones", gave me the courage to live my truth full time, I'm forever indebted. Matt, my friend, you are missed already. I love you.

Laverne Cox at Creating Change 2014

"When a trans woman is called a man, that is an act of violence . . ." Laverne Cox wows at National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change last night #cc14

Audience at Thursday night's opening plenary at the 2014 Creating Change conference was blown away by Laverne Cox's keynote address. She's right -- it's about love and it's about justice.
